Inermittent Error, some of the BO 4.0 schedule report fails to run.
An internal error occurred while calling 'GetDocumentInfo' API. (Error WIS 30270)
Issue happens with some report and only with few instance of a scheduled report. We have 1500 or more schdule report and some reprots have multiple instance.
Some of them fail with this error message and every day a new instance of same report failes

One of my project requirement is to enable a trusted authentication using BO 4.0. The BO server is running on windows platform. Both Web sphere (Web Application Server ) and IBM IHS web server running on AIX. Currently, all the users are being entered to a Custom web portal providing their user id's and passwords which are being authenticated by Active Directory. Once the authentication is done, it allows the user to see the landing page of the custom web portal. In this web portal, there is a link available to call the BO launch pad. if i want to enable a trusted connection we need to follow any of the 6 methods to pass the user name and password to CMS for validation (Cookies, session, http_user etc.,). Any experts have implemented trusted authentication of the above such a environment earlier? I request you to provide the complete steps to implement the same.Please help me out

I have locked a report in LCM through version management , my requirement is when ever some looks in infoview to download that locked report it shouldnt download since i have locked? is this Scenario possible.? in regular scenario the report is geting download .Can i connect Infoview and LCM?

In my landscape we are going to install BOBI 4.0 sp6 and its a fresh installation. And we are planning to use OLAP connection for BICS connectivity between BO and BW. Am quite new to this kind of connections. I want to know the procedure to make connection between BO and BW. After the insatllation of BOBI, can i directly create a OLAP connection or before that i want to make any settings between BO and BW, if so please let me know the proper step by step methods. Kindly help me in this.

BO Admin guide says, in a cluster environment, we have to configure the cluster name in the SIA properties, and modify the PlatformServices.properties file to make the cluster work.
I tried to not give a cluster name, and do nothing to the PlatformServices.properties file, seems the cluster is still working fine?
Do you know what is the file used for? How about the cluster name?

After a new installation on CentOS 5.9 I can't seem to get the Report Application Server to start.
SAP Crystal Server 2011 SP4 (14.0.4.738)
Here is about all of the information I have found in the logs:

I have created a dynamic recipients publication for a webi report. I don't want that it gets refreshed when the job runs. So I deactivated the Refresh At Runtime checkbox in the publication settings and also the refresh on open option in the report itself.
Unfortunately when I run the publication, it always refreshed the data provider. Ist there any limitation for this option when using dynamic recipients?

We have issue with one of our dev server its giving error when try to login though cmc
Error: Server dsd2bis:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null
I try to connect with SIA but not able to do that getting error cms is unable to start.
When i check in event log getting below error details

I need to transfer my Custom Info objects from one BI server to another BI server which are not connected. I want to transfer it to a specific Info Object catalog
I can transfer them to "Unassigned characteristics" catalog using "Transport Connection", but I want to transfer them into other (Custom) catalog without Including the Basis team.
Please help.
I have some cubes reading data from ECC without any problem.
However, I just transported cube 0PABN_C01 (Benefits, HR) with 3.x datasource 0HR_PA_BN_1 and every time I try to run a full update, there's no Delta optin here, it returns 0 data. Outbound idoc from ECC has RQSTATE 8 (in BI I get the message Info IDoc received with status 8.).
If I run the extracto in ECC I get data, if I run the infopackage in the development or the quality environments, I get data and PSA is loaded without any problem. It's only the production system.
Just replicated the datasource, I don't know where else to look at. Any idea?

We are planning for for upgrade from BOE 3.1 to BI 4.0. Went through some notes In BI 4.0 we have a option for accessing the Reports and Dashboards from Mobile Devices. So my question would be whether the BI 4.0 setup will contain all the necessary files and setups needed for the Mobile Usage. Or should we download any separate software to integrate the Mobile Usage in BI 4.0. If so what all has to be done to configure the Mobile Usage.

I got an issue in the CMC when I scheduled a report - "Error in File ~tmp477b7a8e13ae8a0.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters.". Well, I checked the "Database Configuration" Parameters and found them to be correct. All other reports are running as scheduled.
Another thing about these reports is that they ask for log on details again when viewing the report even as "Use same database logon as when report is run" is enabled in the Database Configuration.
Kindly advice me.

we are often losing connection to CMS/AUDIT system Databases therefore
users can not log into Infoview.
The work around is to restart the Server Intelligence Agent (sia.exe)
Server Details: we have BusObjects Edge standard XI 3.0
Application Server: MS Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2
Database Server: MS Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2
There are multiple errors in our event viewer showing these errors.
They have been happening for the last week.
Not sure why this is happening or how to reproduce anyone know how to fix?

Can we use BI 4.0 Client tools without using any VPN Softwares ?
We are trying to connect to our BI Sand box from another network , although we have assigned and opened the ports.
With in the same network every thing works fine. now we need to know if we are missing anything or the only way is VPN.

Last time during unistall some application I lost Tomcat (still get ifnfo - The service didn not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion)
So I started to install new Tomcat - 5.5.20. The installation finished succesfull, I see new services - Tomcat and it's running.
But I don't know how can I 'join' new Tomcat installation with InfoView etc.
I tried as it's wrote in KBA1686741 (wdeploy new tomcat) and eveything finish properly. But I still get error: HTTP Status 404 - when I want to open CMC or InfoView.
My BO installation:
- BO 3.1 SP5
- Tomcat 5.5.20
I see reports in InfoView but only through RichClient( ver.standalone) -> Import from CMS
In CCM I see old Tomcat which is stopped, SIA is working
