Dear all,
I'm trying to connect to an MSSAS OLAP Cube to do some testing on the BO Analysis for OLAP tool.
Therefore I found two manuals which I used to implement the connection (http://blog.davidg.com.au/2011/03/configuring-bi40-connection-advanced.html and http://www.clariba.com/blog/sap-business-objects-xi-4-0-release-connecting-to-olap-data-sources/)
If done all settings as discribed.
For my environment, We're running a BO 4.0 on SP6 P1, Windows 2008R2 Server.
I try to Access a MS SQL 2008 Server where the "adventure works" demo cube is implemented.
The IIS is running on another Windows 2008 Server.
As already said, I've tried to implement the connection like discribed in the turoials.
My prolem is, I do not see any OLAP cubes.
I'm using a domain user. When I connect to the MSSQL Analysis Services using management Studio, I can access the OLAP cubes using the mentioned account. But it seem's there is a problem within the IIS connection.
But I would assume the connection works in general. I do net get any error message. When try a different user, which has no permissions, I get an error in the connection Box in IDT.
Anyone an idea?
