We are using BI 4.0 SP6.
The scheduling instanced which has SMTP/FTP destination set are failing with the below error
"Object failed to run due to an error while processing on the Job Server."
I checked the Adaptive job server where the SMTP hostname/Port/Login/Uname/Passwords are all set but not sure why it's failing.
After doing some search on google i found, its a known bug in BI 4.0 SP5 but it's been fixed in the later patch.We aare in SP06 but don't why the error still persists.
I tried to do a ping to the SMTP host, that works fine.
On the Windows event viewer i saw this warning message.
"The scheduler component failed the object identified by 49196. The job associated with the object was unresponsive."
Could you please help me on debugging this issue and how to resolve. Thank you.
