We are using Crystal Reports Server 2008 (version 12.5.3.1475) and when running a report via InfoView we sometimes get the below error:
"Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact your system administrator. [RCIRAS0546] "
Please note, when the user tries to run the same report again after few minutes or so, it works fine.
Basically, the above error is happening on some odd occasions/infrequently. We run this report daily at least 10 times or so, but this error is occurring about few times a week.
Not sure, what exactly is the issue here.
I referred, similar type of issues and followed various suggestion related to this like below and all those settings are already in place in this report;
a) I checked the Printer Settings for the report and the option is correctly set which is “No Printer (Optimized for screen display)”;
b) The procedures used by the report are running perfectly;
Since, this issue is happening infrequently, I'm not sure what is the underlying issue here.
Could someone, please help me identify the root cause of this.
