We are migrating from Bex web broadcasting email to BI publications and using bursting on webi source document. All is working well and we enjoy consolidating multiple bex querys/emails to a single webi document.
As we prepare procedures to test before release, we do like the test mode feature to check that the dynamic recipients receive the filtered documents correctly. The question we have is if there is a way in the BI Platform to manage emails similar to SAP transaction SOST?
We often monitor SOST, especially for new documents and to troublehoot as we can pause the sapconnect job to pause email sending then we can validate the recipients and view the actual message and attachment before it is delivered.
I have looked into CMC, but cannot find any such feature similar to SOST.
I appreciate your experience on how you might handle this requirement.
