Hi all -
In the past couple weeks, we've moved up to BusObj XI3.1 SP6 FP2 (from FP1), to Oracle 11.2.0.3 from 11.2.0.2, and have also been hit by
various browser and java updates.
Just yesterday, I noticed an issue using the right-click menu in the InfoView document list --- e.g., to view history, properties, schedule -- when accessing BusObj Enterprise from home. In our limited testing thus far, it appears that I don't see the issue at all in any of the three browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome) when accessing BusObj Enterprise over our university network. When accessing it from an external network, however, variable issues occur with IE and Chrome, but Firefox works fine.
At the point that this happens, we're only navigating the document list - java isn't even in use so I'm hesitate to lay the blame there. I'm also using the same software versions that I have on my work PC, so not sure that's the issue either. It would almost seem a network issue, except that Firefox works, and we haven't (to my knowledge) made any network changes. And I'm able to log in and run queries with no problem, so why would that one feature be problematic? We're also not sure when it really started, since the majority of use of the server occurs from the university network.
Has anyone seen anything like this? It's puzzling and we do have a number of users who access the server while on the road, so we need to
figure out how to address it.
Thanks,
Amy Miller
