New user in very small business environment. I am doing best I can to administer BO BI 4.1 Support Pack 1 Patch 2 on Server2008R2 Enterprise SP1. I don't know a lot about our system but I manage to keep it running. One issue after we upgraded to 4.1 was platform search service will not function. I have tried deleting all information in \SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\PlatformSearchData then rebuilding the index as suggested then restarting the SIA. I have frequency set to continuous crawling, level of indexing Platform and Document Metadata and content type as Web Intelligence only. When I select rebuild the index and re-start indexing it starts, indicates running and shows the Number of indexed documents as 12. It always shows the Number of indexed documents as 12 and seems to stall at this point. Every search I perform in Launch Pad renders no results. No matter how many times I go through this clean up and rebuild procedure it stops at 12 and no search results are rendered. I have also disabled the Platform Search Service in my APS core server and created another server dedicated to the Platform Search Service. It starts and runs fine without error. Are there settings within this service that may need adjusted?
