Has anyone using Enterprise Portal had issues with SSO to BI Launchpad following upgrade of BOE to version 4.1 SP2?
Upgrading from BOE 4.0 SP4 Patch 8, to 4.1 SP2
SSO from Enterprise Portal to BOE (BI Launchpad, Opendocument) no longer works. The following error is presented to user:
Error: Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008)
Steps for logon:
User logs onto Enterprise Portal, Siteminder challenged, credentials entered, user logged on
SSO over to BOE – via cookie set in Portal, BOE set for trusted authentication
Settings in global.properties file
siteminder.authentication=secWinAD
siteminder.enabled=false
sso.enabled=true
trusted.auth.user.param=MYSAPSSO2
trusted.auth.user.retrieval=COOKIE
Settings in bilaunchpad.properties file
authentication.visible=true
authentication.default=secSAPR3
cms.default=xxxxxxxxxxx
Settings in opendocument.properties file
authentication.default=secSAPR3
cms.default= xxxxxxxxxxx
Post 4.1 SP2 install, we’ve taken the following steps:
Ran WDEPLOY to confirm custom setup is deployed
Modified the updated server.xml and added back parameter maxHttpHeaderSize="65536"
