"Opening Document - refresh window" doesn't appear

Hello Gurus,

This one is really a weird issue.

I have a BOXI 3.1 SP3 system with 3 tomcats and an Apache for load balancing (via mod_proxy). This setup works without any issues. The load balancing happens correctly as well.

The ports I use are as below -

Apache - 80

Tomcat 1 - 8080

Tomcat 2 - 8180

Tomcat 3 - 8280

I have a WEBI report which takes 2 mins to run (refresh on open checked).

The problem is when I use an open document link to this report with a tomcat port, the below "Opening Document" window shows up correctly -

For Eg. when I use the OpenDocument Link as -http://<MyServer>:8080/OpenDocument/openDocument.jsp?sType=wid&iDocID=1234&sRefresh=Y, the abovesaid "Opening Document" page shows up correctly.

However, when I route the same OpenDocument link via my Apache server (i.e. using port 80), this "Opening Document" window doesn't appear at all.

For Eg. When I use the OpenDocument link as - http://<MyServer>/OpenDocument/openDocument.jsp?sType=wid&iDocID=1234&sRefresh=Y, the abovesaid Opening Document page doesn't show up. Instead, it shows a blank page for 2 mins and after 2 mins, the refreshed data shows up.

Ironically, after the report is shown up, when I click on "Refresh All" in the WEBI, the next page shows "Refreshing Data" window correctly as shown below -

Can anyone please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Sree
