Please help! I'm getting the error msg:"Failed to update setup engine executables. Program will exit."

Dear Experts,

We are trying to install SBOP BI 4.0 SP4.But while installing i am getting error like 'Failed to update setup engine executables.Program will exit'.

Can you suggest in below cases.

1)As we are having 60 only GB in C: directory we are installing it in D: Directory.

What is max memory is needed for  the above?

Can we install in D: directory rather than in C:?

2)Please suggest why the above mentioned error is happening?
