Facing issue with Webi server -server intelligence agent for this server is unavailable. System Integration Testing Environment
Back ground :
Current Version : BI 4.1 SP5
Linux : RHEL 6
RAM - 16GB /6 core CPU
Webi REPORTS - 150, 4 Universes (.unv)
Reporting DB : Oracle 11g
1 webi server, 2 APS - one for Webi and 1 for rest of services, other services like crystal/Dashboard/WACS/Monitoring APS are all stopped and distabled
Old version : BOXI 3.1 SP7
Linux : RHEL 6
RAM - 8GB /1 core CPU
Webi REPORTS - 150, 4 Universes (.unv)
Reporting DB : Oracle 11g
Wiped off BOXI 3.1 sp7 on the VM box. Took CMS DB/FRS back up. Installed BI 4.1 sp5 with the same user as used for BOXI 3.1 sp7 - Installation was successful. At the time of Installation .bash_profile was pointing to Oracle 10g -64bit client as the customer did not have 11g client at that point in time. Run the UMT on a separate Windows box and migrated the contents in incremental upgrade way from BOXI 3.1 sp7 to BI 4.1 SP5.
During testing found that when ever reports are scheduled 10 at a time , AJS is set to 10, webi server goes down with error "server intelligence agent for this server is unavailable" once even AJS went down with same error. Start from CMC doesnt help always SIA has to be restarted. This happens after around 30-40 jobs are run in a day. Increased webi memory from default 6GB to 9GB and now even removed the memory limit. Still webi goes down at the end of job run and cannot come up on its own neither start works from CMC.
bash_profile has been now pointed to Oracle 11g 64bit DB Client but still services are unable to register them selves with SIA
Any suggestions would greatly help
