We are trying to install SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Risk Reporting For Banking which is a group of three main components to be installed on top of BI platform:
- A database Backup .BAK
- A .biar file
- A .dfa file
While we could restore the .BAK file using the standard database backup procedure, and the .biar file using the upgrade management tool, we have no clue what to use to restore the .dfa file.
We are using a single server installation of SAP BI platform 4.0 SP06 and SAP Data Services 4.0 SP03 running on top of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
We know that the .dfa file is a SAP Data federator archive. Since data federator has been integrated with/is part of BI platform starting version 4.0 (Information Design Tool) kindly tell us how can we restore that .dfa file, if possible in the first place Image may be NSFW.
