Changing the limit of number of instances in history

Hello,

There seems to be something I'm missing when it comes to controlling the number of instances a scheduled crystal report maintains over a period of time.

I am using BI Platform 4.1. I have a folder that contains a Crystal Report that runs every two weeks and creates an instance. I want to keep the instances for 1 year, so that obviously amounts to at least a limit of 26 instances or reports no older than 365 days.

I have made adjustments to the folder to the "Limits" section to allow the admin user that generates the reports to "Delete instances after N days". I set N = 365. The root folder for "All Folders" has a limit of 35 days.

After setting this, I began to run reports for past dates to populate the history with new instances, but no more than 6 reports are ever preserved. Please note, the instance date on all the reports I am running is today's date, so the "date" restriction shouldn't come into play.

I set the same limit setting on the Crystal Report object itself, and I still can only preserve no more than 6 instances.

Is there another setting that I am not taking into account?

Thanks in advance,

Michael
