SAP BW & BO installation on UNIX or Windows ?

Dear Gurus,

We've a scenarios where we need to decide on one of the following landscape scenario , let us know which one will be the best.

Current Scenario of SAP ECC

Our present SAP ECC 6 EHP6 landscape is based on SUN machines with SOLARIS 10 OS & Oracle DB.

Solutions Proposed ( Windows Based on Sybase )

1. So Is there any connectivity/integration issue if we decide to go  for HP Machines with Windows 2012 Server OS & Sybase IQ DB for both SAP BW & SAP BO Landscape ?

Solutions Proposed For BW ( UNIX BASED) and Business Objects (Windows Based)

1. SUN Machines with Solaris OS / Oracle DB for SAP BW landscape
2. Intel Machines with Windows 2012 OS / Oracle DB for SAP BO Landscape

I'd really appreciate if you could help us in identify the best viable solution for our BI.
