Is it necessary to set for SBOP during the installation?

Hi experts,

I am in doubts whether one need to set SID for SBOP or not.

There are no plain instractions about it in guides besides SIA Node creation.

But according to http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1653689

it is recommended to change SBOP's SID

"2.1 SAP recommendation for renaming the SID and extended SID"

There is also the instruction in ACTool_Assistant

"# Input the long SID name for Tomcat technical system, recommand is <$SID>_WAS, where <$SID> is

# the first three character of BOE technical system.

sld.system.longSID = XXX_WAS"

if SID was set while installation the other one than as tree symbol recomendation

then ACTool_Assistant gives the error message

"Server <SID> not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) <SID>"

Is there any workaround for the situation?

Or is <SID> not important for SBOP?
