We are on BI 4.1 SP1 on Win 2008 R2.
I have followed follow notes -
1325669 - How to deny access to Personal Folders by using Access Levels in XI3.x
1730987 - How to deny users to create folders in their 'My Favorites' in BI Launchpad.
But no matter what I do, the personal folder always have full right for a user. I use a group in Personal Folder option in CMC to assign the top level security. Then i see that it is inheritated at the user level for that group.
There are so many notes available on the marketplace and nothing is concrete so far for me. I only tried few based on the basic Access Level theory but it is not working so far.
I tried to make even a Access Level with bunch of Deny rights and still it is allowing user to do everything.
I do not know what I am missing.
I have not yet tried the note 1857231 - How to deny the users to Add any local document to their Personal Folders (My Favorites) through BI Launchpad in BI 4.0?, which sounds promosing but need soem help.
Please advice.
