SSO With Server IP not working

Hello Experts,

I implemented Single Sign On on our standalone BOXI 3.1 SP4 environment using Win AD Kerberos and Vintela, Apache Tomcat 5.5, Windows Server 2003 and the Win AD Domain Controller being on Win Server 2008.

I'm able to do single sign on using IE and Firefox using the server name in the url, like  http://BOServer/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp.

But when I enter the ip address instead of server name like http://10.60.210.70/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp, it is not signing me in directly but instead I have to enter the credentials to log in. Even with the IP address, the SSO should be working...Correct?

On the Win AD Domain Controller, I did create a SPN with the IP address using the command

SETSPN -A HTTP/10.60.210.70 SERVICEACCOUNT

And when I view the list of SPN's for the service account, the IP address is listed.

Can I fix this issue? How do I do it? Where do I start from?
