Hi All,
We have 200 + Crystal Reports(Based on Universe) migrated from BO 3.1 SP6 to SAP BI 4.1;
When I try to run the Report from BI Launch Pad I See the below Error. (However Reports works fine in Crystal Reports 2013 Designer)
The viewer could not process an event. Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact your system administrator. [RCIRAS0546]
---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]
Here are my observations -
When I looked at Even Viewer on BI Server, I see Page Server Child Crash with the following message -
The description for Event ID 0 from source PageServerChildCrash cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
BusinessObjects_crproc Error with the following error message -
A failure occurred while the server was processing report file 3:14186 (RCIRAS0568)
This is happening after running 3 to 4 Reports and after some time again couple of Reports works and then same error.
I have followed below steps to resolve the Issue -
1. Refreshed the Crystal Reports Queries in Crystal Designer and saved back to Enterprise but no luck.
2. Increased the Maximum Memory threshold for WebI Processing Server to 15 GB; Reports worked fine but it is not recommended.
3. Disabled CR Related Servers Logging and WebI Processing Server Logging, Deleted Logs, Cleared the Cache from the Installation Directory, Cleared the Tomcat Cache and increased the Universe Connection Array Fetch Size to 1000.
With this I am able to run 50+ Reports but Again I see the Error Some times.
Can someone guide me to resolve this Issue.
