Hi Everyone
We're on Business Objects 4.1 SP1. I have a question on the Basics of Business Objects Layout and formatting. I am trying to create a table with multiple columns and trying to set the "Invoice Number" as a section on this table. In my case, there are about 20 invoice numbers, therefore I would like to have 20 pages. I am doing the following:
1) Insert required columns in the table
2) Right Click on the report layout, click Insert --> Section --> Invoice Number
3) Now, I see a cell containing the Invoice Number, and the table beneath the cell, with the required details. Likewise, there are 20 such section on the same page.
4) Now, I right click on the CELL 'Invoice Number' and go to Layout and click 'Vertical - Start on New page' & 'Vertical - Avoid Page Break in free standing cells'
5) This creates a section on EACH page correctly, but also moves all the content to the 2nd page, therefore leaving the first page blank. I would like to eliminate this blank first page.
6) so I tried other options on trial & error, by inserting another other free standing cell. Aligned the table below this cell using relative positioning and tried the step 4 again. Enabled the option 'Repeat on every Page'. Got the same result.
7) Also, I tried to apply these setting on the TABLE properties, instead of the cell properties, and got the same result. I have a blank first page.
8) I tried to amend the section properties, by right-clicking on report layout, format section, layout. Played around with all the options, but unable to get rid of the blank page.
9) I had a look at some posts and they mention the same steps that I have done, such as this one:

Could someone please point out what mistake I might be doing?
Thanks
