BOXI XI 3.1 SP7 & Oracle Java 6 Issues?

Hello,

We are currently running BusinessObjects  Enterprise XI 3.1 SP4 and intend to upgrade to 3.1 SP7 due to Internet Explorer 11 being rolled out at our organisation.

Our client computers will remain using Oracle Java 6 with Internet Explorer 11. In the document "SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP7 for Windows – Supported Platforms" the Support Browsers section only lists Oracle Java 7 as a supported JVM.

Is anyone aware of what the issues are with using Oracle Java 6 and BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP7?
