How to install SAP BO dashboard 4.0 (SP9) ?

I have downloaded SAP BO dashboard 4.0 (SP9). and referred some documents,

in there it has mention SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards under the "Server Products and Operating Systems" and also in the "Desktop Clients and Operating Systems" So I'm little bit confused about the installation. Please let me inform

1. Do I need to install SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards on server before install it to the client.

2. If we need to install it on server kindly inform the installation and configuration steps to follow.

kindly consider that I'm new to this SAP system.
